P-05-880 Wales is Rapidly Losing its Musical Reputation and Heritage, Correspondence – Welsh Association of Male Choirs to Committee, 28.01.20

I am writing on behalf of the Welsh Association of Male Choirs to indicate our support for the petition proposal  which the Petitions Committee will be considering on Tuesday 4^th February 2020. Our 100+ member choirs recognise that a personal commitment to the great tradition of choral singing in Wales is often triggered at an early stage in life, often through active participation in school based music activity. We are committed to maintain this great tradition to honour those who have gone before us and to benefit  future generations; we hope and expect our legislators to do the same.
